There is an increasing number of users in power supply and distribution industry using flexible braided conductors for the following reasons:

1. High Ampacity

Ampacity is the first thing that must be taken into account when designing or purchasing a flex-braided conductor. (click here to see the definition of ampacity)

2. All Copper Made
From the braided wire to the lugs at two ends are made of high conductive copper which allows conductivity up to 99.99%.

3. Flexibility
Braided copper conductor is well know for its flexibility. A cable or bus bar that carries the same ampacity as a flex-braid is much stiffer.

4. Reduce Vibration
A flex-braid does not transmit vibration thus can solve problems created by vibration in high-voltage connections.
